UTHM welcomes qualified agents and introducers to collaborate in promoting our academic programmes globally. Together, we aim to attract talented international students and strengthen UTHM’s position as a Global Technopreneur University.

Terms and Conditions for Agent and Introducer

  1. Agents must be registered companies officially appointed by UTHM.
  2. Both Agents and Introducers must sign a formal contract with UTHM before carrying out any promotional or recruitment activities.
  3. They must comply with all Malaysian laws, UTHM regulations, and ethical recruitment practices.
  4. They are prohibited from:
    • Providing false or misleading information about UTHM or its programmes.
    • Charging any fees to students for application or offer acceptance.
    • Misusing UTHM’s logo or materials for unrelated or commercial purposes.
    • Engaging in unethical or fraudulent acts, including misrepresentation of student visa purposes.
  5. They must ensure:
    • Students meet UTHM’s English language requirements.
    • Students pay their full tuition fees and do not have outstanding debts to UTHM.
    • Personal data of prospective students are handled according to data protection laws.
  6. Registration Fee (applicable upon appointment and each contract renewal):
    • Agent: RM500
    • Introducer: RM100
  7. Incentives:
    • Agent: RM2,000 per successfully registered international student
    • Introducer: RM1,000 per successfully registered international student

Role and Commitment

Agent
  • Promote and market UTHM’s academic programmes globally.

  • Assist prospective students with accurate information on courses, fees, and application processes.

  • Support students throughout the admission process until successful enrolment.

  • Maintain compliance with UTHM’s branding, marketing, and communication guidelines.

  • Participate in training sessions, briefings, or promotional events organized by UTHM.

  • Submit regular performance reports and cooperate during monitoring and evaluation exercises.

Introducer
  • Identify and refer potential students to UTHM.

  • Provide correct and complete information about UTHM’s programmes to prospective students.

  • Act as a liaison between the student and UTHM until registration.

  • Uphold professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
