Steps for i-Kad & Insurance Renewal

  • Submit your I-Kad & Insurance Renewal [APPLICATION ONLINE].

  • Once the documents are verified, the International Office (IO) will email the renewal invoice to you.

  • Make the EMGS i-Kad & Insurance payment via JomPay and reply to the invoice email with the payment proof. 

  • After that, you will receive another invoice for the UTHM processing fee (RM100). Please complete the payment and submit the proof of payment [HERE].

  • IO will process and submit your renewal application to EMGS. 

  • Check the [COLLECTION STATUS] regularly. Once ready, you may your documents from the International Office (IO).

It is compulsory for student to have a valid i-Kad/insurance policy throughout your study in Malaysia. Stay protected all round the clock wherever you are. It is imperative that you monitor the expiry date of your Student Insurance Policy to ensure you are always covered. UTHM will advise your insurance on your new application/renewal.
