Types of Mobility Programme

All of the mobility programmes are conducted by 8 Faculties and 2 centres which are:

  • Faculty of Civil Engineering and Build Environment (FKAAB)

  • Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (FKEE)

  • Faculty of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (FKMP)

  • Faculty of Technology Management and Business (FPTP)

  • Faculty of Technical and Vocational Education (FPTV)

  • Faculty of Science Computer and Information Technology (FSKTM)

  • Faculty of Applied Science and Technology (FAST)

  • Faculty of Engineering Technology (FTK)

  • Centre for Language Studies

General Procedures

Stated below is the general procedures for the mobility programme.

Applicants / Home University coordinator are required to contact Faculty’s Mobility Coordinator to discuss about type of programme, subject to register in UTHM, and other matters prior to the application. Kindly refer to UTHM academic calendar to decide which semester you wished to enroll in.

Applicants are required to fill up the mobility application form to proceed with the application.

Offer letter will be issued by the Academic Management Office once the application is successful.

a mobility programme exceeding 1 month duration, applicants are required to apply for a Visa through the EMGS system. Applicants are advised to perform the Visa application at least 2 months before the start of the programme. Kindly note that applicants who hold a passport from countries that require a Visa must apply for it if they participate in any types of the mobility programmes.

Once the Visa Approval Letter (e-VAL) has been issued, applicants can then proceed to purchase a flight ticket. Please note that the arrival date in Malaysia should not be earlier than 5 days before the programme starts. For example if the programme starts at 25th June, applicants must arrive ONLY AFTER the 20th June which is 21st June and onwards.

Upon arrival, applicants are required to report at the Faculty for further action.
