Student Mobility at UTHM

As part of its internationalization effort, UTHM promotes inbound and outbound student exchange for its students. Through these programs, students have the opportunity to experience different academic environments and cultures by enrolling in courses or modules offered by various institutions around the world for a stipulated amount of time. The university recognizes two types of mobility programs based on the content of the module which are offered. These can either be programs with or without credit transfer.

Student Exchange Program

Through this type of program, students will earn credits and grades that will contribute towards the graduation requirements of their host universities. This will normally involve attending a module or a course (subject) that is deemed relevant to the degree program which the student is registered in.

Inbound Exchange:

UTHM offers one to two semesters exchange at undergraduate level on a wide range of courses in Engineering, Science and Technology, ICT and Management which are taught in English. The list of programs in UTHM can be found here: UTHM Programs

The role of the international office is to assist students who are interested in joining such programs. Therefore, we welcome inquiries regarding mobility programs to be directed to us at:
