As part of its internationalization effort, UTHM promotes inbound and outbound student mobility for its students. Through these programs, students have the opportunity to experience different academic environments and cultures by enrolling in courses or modules offered by various institutions around the world for a stipulated amount of time. The university recognizes two types of mobility programs based on the content of the module which are offered. These can either be programs with or without credit transfer.
In this type of mobility program, students enrol to spend a period of time at an institution outside the campus. Normally, this type of mobility involves a lot of cultural experiences and exchange along with teamwork and leadership development activities.
Through this type of program, students will earn credits and grades that will contribute towards the graduation requirements of their host universities. This will normally involve attending a module or a course (subject) that is deemed relevant to the degree program which the student is registered in.
